The Chemung County Land Bank has many programs to help revitalize the City of Elmira. Please see each page for properties that we are in process of working with. Any properties currently for sale are listed under our Properties for Sale tab.

Owner Occupied Repair Program

The Chemung County Land Bank is accepting applications from homeowners in Chemung County for grant funding for safety and emergency repairs. These funds are provided by NYS Homes and Community Renewal through the Land Bank Initiative funding. Eligible applicants must have owned and occupied their home in Chemung County for at least 12 months. Income eligibility and terms apply (up to 120% Area Median Income).  Applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis.
